Multiple blocks displayed on one page

Hello,

I would like to change the way blocks are formatted.

Specifically I notice that on some sites, for example the
http://www.bahraini.tv, the page contains a numer of different blocks and
banners in a format that is different to the standard format.

Does anyone know how to format the page in that format. Is their a specific
module that deals with page format and allows for the customisation of the
format of blocks.

Most of the customisation (other than actually adding blocks to blockgroups)
is done by overriding the default templates with your own theme templates.
That's what templating is all about :-)
